I help middle schoolers and their moms replace daily friction with skills that stick so your child can thrive at home, at school, and with friends.
It’s not that your child doesn’t care. It’s that middle school is a perfect storm:
Executive functioning skills are still developing.
Social drama is constant and exhausting.
Academic demands ramp up fast.
Emotions swing harder than ever.
You don’t need to be your child’s full-time coach. You need someone who can teach them the skills you’ve been trying to get them to learn — without damaging your relationship.
That’s what I do.
Here’s what makes my coaching different:
I specialize in ages 11–14. These years aren’t just “in between.” They’re when executive functioning, identity, and independence take big leaps — or get stuck.
Coaching is future-focused, strengths-based, and action-oriented. Your child learns tools they can use today.
If you’ve said any of the following below, I can help. Each of these is a teachable skill and when kids learn them, everything changes — not just schoolwork, but how your home feels.
“They wait until the last minute for everything.”
“They give up as soon as it gets hard.”
“They never tell me what’s really wrong.”
“They’re always the one left out.”
“They refuse to ask for help — even when they need it.”
“They don’t notice (or care) about mistakes.”
I work together with you to identify the exact skills holding your child back.
We create a realistic, step-by-step action map for your child.
We build habits through a guided practice and feedback mechanism.
No. Coaching is about building skills and habits for the future. Therapy is about healing or diagnosing. Many of my students also see therapists, and coaching works well alongside that.
Tutoring focuses on subjects (math, reading, etc.). Coaching focuses on skills — planning, starting, organizing, regulating emotions, managing friendships. Once kids learn these, their schoolwork and life improve across the board.
Absolutely. Coaching is practical and action-based, so it often complements therapy. I’ll never replace a therapist, but I help your child put daily strategies into practice.
About 10–15 minutes a week. We’ll touch base so you know what’s happening and how to support at home without nagging or micromanaging.
If you want, yes. With your permission, I’ll communicate with teachers or counselors so everyone’s on the same page.
You can pay in full or split into 3 monthly payments.
